Neptune goes to West Palm Beach for the Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Columbus Day weekends. These popular trips fill up fast. The big 2018 international trip is to Cayman Brac. Because the trip sold out almost immediately by word of mouth, we are offering a second trip to Cayman Brac the next week. Even this second trip is almost full - so stop by the shop TODAY to get information and reserve your place. At the DEMA show, Neptune's Trip Team began discussions for planning 2019 international travel - stay tuned.

Dive Travel: Mini-trips in 2018!

Neptune is justifiably famous for doing things large, like taking 95 people to Roatan last year, or reserving an entire resort in Cayman Brac for 2 consecutive weeks in 2018. The always-popular West Palm Beach trips take a couple of dozen divers to sunny south Florida several times a year.

Starting in 2018, Neptune will explore offering mini-trips, including specialty trips that will appeal to smaller numbers of divers.

Stay tuned for details.

We're gauging customer interest in the following potential trips - stop by and let us know your interests:

The first mini-trip of the year is Ginnie Springs. Leave Augusta Friday 9 March, dive on Saturday and Sunday, and return Sunday afternoon. Two nights double occupancy in the Super 8. For scuba, Neptune has regularly scheduled SSI Open Water Diver (OWD) classes, and private training for those whose lives don't fit into a regular schedule. Neptune also offers a wide range of SSI continuing education classes regularly and on demand. The open water training dives for the late-winter and spring classes take place at Ginnie Springs. Once the lake and river are warm enough, the open water training dives are there. Check with the shop for details.

Are you a certified diver looking for continuing education? Are you ready to earn the Advanced Open Water and Master Diver ratings? Neptune offers Nitrox, Boat Diving, Deep Diving, Navigation, Night and Limited Visibility Diving, Diver Stress and Rescue, React Right, and other specialty courses. Some of these, like Science of Diving and the SSI Marine Biology courses, including Marine Ecology, Shark Ecology, and Fish Identification are ideal for wintertime study - they're online courses with no pool sessions or open water dives required, and there's no need to wait for a class to be formed. Neptune also offers refreshers for folks who want to review and polish their basic dive skills.
